Aserca Airlines ceased operations in 2018. Take a look at these airlines which have a similar route network to Aserca Airlines:
Aserca Airlines was an airline based in Carabobo, Venezuela, and operates domestic and regional scheduled services to destinations within the Caribbean, Central America and the USA.
Aserca Airlines' hub was at Simon Bolivar International Airport, Caracas.
The airline flew to many destinations including Caracas, Barcelona, Maracaibo, Maturin, Barquisimeto, Santo Domingo, Porlamar, Valencia, Santo Domingo and Aruba.
Aserca Airlines was established in 1968 and started operations in 1991. Unfortunately, it announced in May 2018 that it was ceasing all operations, and returned its AOC (Air operator’s certificate).
Originally, Aserca Airlines focused on Valencia but it developed Caracas as a hub for their operations. Aserca Airlines previously had a controlling interest in Air Aruba and also a minority stake in SBA Airlines. Additionally, Aserca's intentions were focused on Valencia but managed to develop Caracas as a hub.
Aserca Airlines fleet consisted wholly of McDonnell Douglas aircraft. Throughout its operating years, it had also previously operated Boeing and Douglas aircraft.
Aserca Airlines operates a frequent flyers program called Privilege through which members can be rewarded for purchasing flights with Aserca Airlines.
